Property Description

The exceptional 1680 acre FernRidge ranch is located just outside the Victorian Village of Ferndale and only minutes to the Pacific Ocean at Centerville beach. Currently the property is permitted for cattle grazing and a timber production operation with mature stands of Douglas fir, western hemlock, red alder, and more recently planted redwood trees. Three creeks flowing through the ranch provide diverse habitat for local wildlife and shaded hiking trails dot the property. The ranch includes a custom built, 4150 square foot OFF GRID home (3B, 3.5b) at the end of a well maintained, but sparsely travelled county road. The home features on the ground floor, a large living room with high ceilings, fireplace, and picture windows with blue water views to the ocean; a formal dining room, kitchen with walk-in pantry, and a family room with wood stove. Also on the ground floor is the main (master) bedroom with attached bath and sunporch and a large laundry room. Upstairs features two additional bedrooms, a full bath, and office loft. In addition, the home has a 3 car garage, an attached "greenhouse", and two large attic spaces. A large (2500 SF) barn with concrete floor and paddock is sited down the hill.
